I found it was interesting to use some materials that I never thought to be used to come up with something useful in the incredibly unrelatable way. This pencil holder was completed by several similar models that were made of fluted dowel, round wooden things with a hole in the center and grommets which were for different uses. In the process of creating it, being mindful of making space for the pencils, imitating models and having them connected in the certain structure were required. Although it looks heavier compared to a proper pencil holder, there is nothing cooler than creating things with some unconventional materials and making your own way for it.

This is the guest pavilions in Olot designed by RCR Arquitectes. The reflective surfaces and minimalist design stand out. The natural light can easily come in and be reflected which makes the space brighter. The glass between the indoor areas and the landscape makes the relationship between external and internal space more intimate and blurred. The ciel also gives the sense of motion which brings more energy.

The rock is colorful, having a closer look made me realize the subtle changes of the different colors:grey, yellow, brown, purple... And even on the surface, the totem-like pattern really stood out, just like a map on the rock!
